Creating a Safe and Effective Clenbuterol Cycle

Gather the Necessities


Before you start your Clenbuterol cycle, it is important to do a little math and make sure you have enough of all of the products you will need to complete the cycle safely. Other than the Clenbuterol, you will need two or three additional products:


  • Potassium gluconate (K-gluconate), 100mg to 200mg per day: regulates your heartbeat, prevents water retention, and balances pH to help with metabolism.
  • Taurine, 3mg to 5mg per day: Wards off painful muscle cramps during a Clenbuterol cycle.
  • Arimidex (aromatase inhibitor), 0.5mg every other day: This is only necessary if you pair your Clenbuterol with an anabolic steroid that aromatizes. The Arimidex helps fight estrogen conversion and minimizes the risk of symptoms like gynecomastia and excessive bloating.


Clenbuterol-Only Cycle


If you have never used a Clenbuterol cycle, you should start by using it alone rather than with other compounds. This will help you determine your overall tolerance to it, and it will help you decide the perfect dose for your needs. As you will see, it is important to increase your dose gradually, over a period of a few weeks. The example below is merely a guideline; you can use a shorter cycle or a smaller dose, if preferred. Remember to use the potassium gluconate and the taurine, too.


  • Week 1 – 40mcg/day 
  • Week 2 – 60mcg/day 
  • Week 3 – 80mcg/day
  • Week 4 – 90mcg/day 
  • Week 5 – 100mcg/day 
  • Week 6 – 110mcg/day 
  • Week 7 – 120mcg/day
  • Week 8 – 130mcg to 140mcg/day


Cytomel and Clenbuterol Cycle


Experienced athletes who truly want to improve their overall physique and burn fat prefer to pair their Clenbuterol with Cytomel, another popular compound in the world of performance enhancement. The two compounds provide a synergistic effect, which means that each one enhances the results of the other without increasing the risk or severity of side effects. Again, make sure to add potassium gluconate and taurine into the mix, but you can forego the Arimidex since Cytomel does not aromatize. This cycle also has plenty of room for adjustment as long as you remember the following three rules:


1 – Take a daily dose of Clenbuterol every other week during a six-week cycle. This does two things. First, your body does not acclimate to the Clenbuterol as quickly. Second, it reduces the risk of side effects.


2 – Use the Cytomel daily for the same six weeks. Unlike Clenbuterol, which is highly adjustable, you will need a consistent level of Cytomel in your body to produce the desired results.


3 – Remember to titrate the doses of both cycle components. This gives you a chance to get used to the effects of both compounds working together. Start with 40mcg of Clenbuterol and 50mcg of Cytomel, and work your way up to maximums of 120mcg Clenbuterol and 125mcg Cytomel. Remember to start tapering down again by the sixth week to prevent withdrawals at the cycle's end.


It is possible to create Clenbuterol cycles with other compounds, too. Many athletes prefer combining it with potent cutting agents like Winstrol for quick and effective fat loss that does not produce intolerable side effects. No matter which cycle you choose, be sure to use all of the aforementioned compounds responsibly.
